To the good, these are projects which can include(but are not limited to):
Sustainable vegetation managementForestry practicesTimber harvesting products such as advance energy and construction materials
At the same time, the initial Climate Catalyst Fund loans will be going towards “projects that reduce wildfire threats through forest biomass management and utilization.”
ACL is not sure if there will be limits on these loans or the means by which our members and others can obtain them.
We anticipate hosting at least one webinar later in 2022 to help guide our members on this program, but in the meantime, the program is launched, and we do urge you to read these documents and to decide if you have an interest in applying for these programs.
