Drug Testing Program

ACL is pleased to announce it has negotiated for the services of Western Pathology Consultants, Inc. (WPCI) to provided ACL members with drug and alcohol testing as required by the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT). Under the federal regulations anyone who has (or should have) a class A or B commercial license and drives a rig weighing more than 26,001 lbs., must be subject to drug and alcohol testing programs including random testing. Generally, half of your employees must be randomly tested each year for drugs and 25% for alcohol abuse. If you participate in a larger consortium or pool, a smaller (or larger) number of employees may get tested and you would continue to be in compliance with the requirements.
