One year ago, due to “first year COVID-19 concerns,” all ACL Chapter Christmas parties were cancelled in December 2020. The last time that ACL Chapters gathered for Christmas parties was in December of 2019.
Now, two years later, three ACL Chapters are having Christmas parties, all in December, 2021.
Due to scheduling requirements, both the Gold Country Chapter (based in Auburn) and the North Coast Chapter(based in Eureka) will be having their Christmas parties on the same night: Thursday December 9. While all ACL members and their guests are invited to all chapter meetings and parties, we figure these parties will end up “catering to their local crowds” on the same night.
Meanwhile, the El Dorado-Mother Lode Chapter of ACL will have its Christmas party on Saturday night, December 18, 2021.
We also note that each of the chapters is having their parties and meetings in a new location from where they last met for Christmas in 2019. Continuing COVID-19 concerns required all three chapters to find new facilities to meet and eat – but we are sure that you will enjoy each of the locations. The health and safety of our guests will be a primary concern.
Invitations are going out directly from chapters to their members, but the ACL office will be sending out three individual “E-blasts” this week with further information, and RSVP deadlines where applicable.
“Please be watching here for your chapter invitation”
