Associated California Loggers has been receiving and “collecting” various letters and memos created by federal, California state, and local agencies, detailing how government offices and their staffs will be working during the COVID-19 crisis. Some of these documents are about “government telling government what to do,” and some of these documents are about “government telling the private sector what the government will do.”
This e-blast is about: “US Forest Service Forest Management Operations Under COVID-19.” For those of you who are working on US Forest Service timber sales and other federal projects, the THREE letters linked to below may be of assistance:
Also, please note that ACL officials have been in direct touch with the US Forest Service, CAL FIRE, and other agencies with this message: “If your employees operate properly and safely in their offices and homes(using telework to create documents) and in the woods using social distancing and other protective measures, we should be able to move projects forward without a slowdown.”
Associated California Loggers will be sharing more federal, state, and local documents regarding COVID-19 practices, as they come available to us.
Thank you.
