A homeowner in Elk Grove, California — just south of Sacramento, has contact the Associated California Loggers office with a request that we are passing along to our member companies: BEGIN:
Hello,
My name is Jodi I live in Elk Grove and have a huge oak tree in my front yard. 2 branches have fallen in the last 2 weeks. One in front yard and one in backyard. An arborist looked at the branch in front yard and said it was rotted and the tree should be removed. A permit is required from the city to remove this tree.
I am currently a single disabled mom and am writing to see if anyone would be willing to help me remove this tree before anymore branches fall. I don’t want anyone’s property damaged or anyone hurt. I don’t think the entire tree is rotted. There has to be some oak timber value within this tree somewhere. The sooner the better!
Thank you!
