ALL ACL members are invited to the RETURN of the annual “Spring/Summer Round-Up” hosted by the Plumas-Sierra Chapter of ACL. The event will take place at the scenic Greenhorn Creek Guest Ranch near Quincy. There will be an outdoor BBQ dinner, preceded by a No-Host Beer and Wine social.
Plumas-Sierra Chapter Co-Chairs Doug Stoy of D.L. Stoy Logging and Paul Violett of Soper-Wheeler invite you to this year’s event, which combines pleasurable company at a beautiful location with an “update for chapter members and guests”” on what ACL is doing in 2018
At a minimum, ACL Executive Director Eric Carleson will appear to speak on ACL’s recent trip to Washington DC and the historic passage of the “Ominbus Bill” which had many pro-timber provisions and passed when ACL was in DC. Carleson will speak on actions being undertaken by the “ACL Working Group on LTO Priorities,” among other activist efforts by ACL for you, including “Governor Brown’s New Executive Order on Timber,” “Prescribed Burning,” “”Tree Mortality,” “LTO/Contractors License Issues” and the status of “RPF/LTO Responsibility” efforts in Sacramento. Local Plumas-Sierra issues will be discussed. ACL has achieved wins which translate into work, financial savings, and regulatory relief for our members. Other ACL officers may attend and speak.
Please come! All ACL Chapters are Invited!
