SECOND ROUND APPLICATION PERIOD FOR CARB “FARMER PROGRAM” TO HELP PURCHASE LOGGING EQUIPMENT: MAY 1, 2020 THROUGH JULY 1, 2020
Subject: Re: Farmer Program, 2nd round of applications
FARMER Program
2nd round application period will be open from May 1 – July 1.
(This means there weren’t enough applications in the Feb. 1 – March 1 application period to use all of the available funds.)
For application process and application forms, go to:
http://www.capcoa.org/farmer-program/
Reminder – this is a program for taking an old off-road forestry/Ag piece of equipment out of service and replacing it with a new piece of equipment (or trade up to a newer used piece of equipment). The program also provides for on-road heavy duty forestry/Ag diesel truck replacement. ACL Members have received this money in past years.
The Funding Agricultural Replacement Measures for Emission Reductions (FARMER) Grant Program is now open for application submittals through July 1, for districts in the Shared Allocation Pool.
The FARMER Program provides funding through local air districts for agricultural harvesting equipment, heavy-duty trucks, agricultural pump engines, tractors, and other equipment used in agricultural operations. The FARMER Program’s Shared Allocation Pool includes those 18 air districts with less than one percent of the statewide emissions from agricultural equipment:
