“It is with a heavy heart but in celebration of his life that Associated California Loggers informs you of the recent passing of Past President Robert “Bob” MacMullin.
Bob passed away last week on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the age of 67 after a lengthy battle with cancer. His family was with Bob when he passed.
Bob MacMullin owned MacMullin Forestry and Logging out of McKinleyville, California, near Eureka on the North Coast of California.
Bob MacMullin was President of Associated California Loggers for a two-year term in 2015 and 2016. Bob served as Vice President for two years before that. In all of those years, and in years after, a highlight of Bob’s career with ACL was in his leadership of the Annual “Fly In” to Washington DC, in which a delegation of ACL officials travelled to DC with the other logging states of the American Loggers Council.
Bob widely expanded the number of Congress Members, staff and federal officials with whom the ACL delegation met – and sought meetings with the Congress Members of states other than California, and from both political parties, to “broaden the reach” of our Association in DC.
When he was the President of Associated California Loggers, Bob MacMullin was also among those who expanded the size and scope of the Annual Meeting in Reno, Nevada.
There are many other achievements in the life and career of Bob MacMullin which will be brought forth in the weeks to come. Memorial services and further information are pending; we will help get the word out.
Here is the home mailing address for Bob’s wife, Cathy MacMullin, if you wish to convey your wishes to Cathy, and to Cathy and Bob’s grown children:
Mrs. Cathy MacMullin

Please join the Board, staff, and membership of Associated California Loggers in conveying our thoughts and prayers to the MacMullin family as we honor the life and career of Bob MacMullin.”
