BREAKING NEWS:
After having to cancel LTO classes in 2020 starting in March, due to COVID-19 concerns, CAL FIRE has made an arrangement with Shasta College to put on 3 such classes in August. Registration is now open. Here are messages from two sources to help get students for these classes registered:

Registration for the Sierra College Classes will start on Monday, July 27, 2020. The Sierra College class in May of this year was cancelled and we had made a commitment to those students that we would notify them before registration of future classes started to give them an opportunity ahead of others. Registration is first come first served. This logistics of getting these classes scheduled has been very difficult because of Covid-19 and the classes could be cancelled at anytime by the local health department or school safety officers. The Shasta College classes are limited to 15 students and 1 instructor (web site may say 10 but it is 15). The Sierra College classes are limited to 12 students with 1 instructor. Covid-19 safety protocols must be followed. Students that will not follow the protocols will be asked to leave with no refund and no certificate. Classes will no longer be offered in Yreka and we were unable to provide classes in Willits this year, but hopefully will next year.
