Golden State Natural Resources (GSNR) is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Request for Bid No. 2025-01-GSNR-GF for the Grizzly Flat Cull Deck Removal Project. The full RFB package will be available on GSNR’s website beginning Monday, July 21, 2025.
This project is part of GSNR’s broader effort, in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, to reduce wildfire risk and improve forest health by facilitating the transport of previously felled, unmerchantable woody biomass to productive end-use facilities. Funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, this initial project will support the removal and hauling of an estimated 21,773 Green Tons (GT) of decked biomass currently located within the Eldorado National Forest to designated end-users identified by the successful bidder. No cutting or harvesting is involved.
The RFB will be available on the following webpage on July 21:
https://
Proposals are due August 20, at 5:00pm PST.
If you have any questions prior to the release, please contact Jason Hansen at jhansen@rcrcnet.org.
We look forward to your participation in advancing California’s forest resiliency goals.
