The link above is to “Youtube” and a video of the entire morning session (8:00 to 11:30 am) of the 2020 TuCARE Summit, held on Friday, October 30, in Sonora, Tuolumne County, California.
If you aren’t interested in watching all three hours-plus of the video, we urge you to watch the opening ten minutes and remarks from 2019-2020 Associated California Loggers President Mike Albrecht, who lives and works in Tuolumne County. ACL is proud of Mike’s leadership and his ability to “cross over” from his work at ACL to his work with TuCARE.
Also, at the 5:15 mark, President Albrecht introduces a “virtual forestry tour” on video in which he also appears. It is definitely worth a watch.
That said, all three hours-plus are certainly a worthwhile watch, as you can see how Associated California Loggers “weaves into” the topics of the day. Speakers from the USDA, the Forest Service, and the Rural County Representatives of California(“RCRC”) talk about many government and private sector programs in which Associated California Loggers is an active participant. Associated California Loggers is named several times during the event.
In any event, the 2020 TuCARE Summit was a success…and we urge you watch President Albrecht’s opening remarks and “virtual forestry tour. “
(President Albrecht also served as “Emcee” for the Summit, introducing all speakers and making closing remarks. It is worth “skipping” to those parts of the video as well.)
