ACL’S 2020 PROLOGGER LIST IS PUBLISHED AND MAILED; ALSO ON ACL WEBSITE
It is with great pride that Associated California Loggers announces the ProLogger List for 2020. The annual list reflects eligible loggers who have either become ProLoggers for the first time or who renewed their eligibility for the list by taking eight units of elective ProLogger classes and by providing ACL with proof of current First Aid/CPR certification via a copy of their “course completion card.”
The 2020 ProLogger list was mailed to ProLoggers, and to employers of loggers, log truckers, and log road builders in the state, and we have posted the list on the ACL website, replacing the 2019 ProLogger list. You can view the 2020 ProLogger list on the web by going to www.californialoggers.com and clicking first on “Services, “then on”ProLogger Training & Certification” and then on “ProLogger List.” (Click on LEARN MORE)
NOTE: There will be a few more names on the website list as these ProLoggers come in after the printed hard copy list was published and mailed. Should new ProLoggers be added to the list in 2020 after the mailing of the 2020 list, their names will appear on the website list only, and employers can contact the ACL office to confirm ProLogger status.
In addition, all 2020 ProLoggers have received, or will receive, official certificates to offer proof of their status, and promotional bumper stickers.
Professionalism in logging is what the ProLogger educational program is designed to achieve. Our commitment to providing you with current safety and regulation information will help keep your business running smoothly and profitably. The program also keeps you in compliance with any educational requirements that a landowner might have. The program meets the requirements set forth by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative(“SFI”) and by the American Loggers Council, whose goals are to enhance the image of contract loggers, develop a national presence , and develop training programs to support profitable business operations. A number of California timber employers are requiring logger certification.
If a potential employer needs to check your ProLogger status at any time, you can direct them to call the ACL office at 916-441-7940 and we will provide them with proof over the phone from our ProLogger database.
FINALLY: Associated California Loggers would like to thank Jan Pardee and Becky Smith of the ACL staff for their diligent effort in working with all 2020 ProLoggers in collecting the information necessary to get these loggers on the 2020 ProLogger List.
