SUBJECT: 2025 Hazardous Fuels Transportation Assistance Grant Notice of Funding Opportunity
The National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) is once again partnering with the USDA Forest Service to launch the 2025 round of the Hazardous Fuels Transportation Assistance grant program. These grants, authorized and funded by the Inflation Reduction Act, are critical to the successful removal of forest products to locations where they can be utilized effectively.
The Forest Service anticipates awarding up to $23 million through this Notice of Funding Opportunity. There is a 50 percent match requirement, meaning a proposal requesting $100,000 in federal funding must include at least $50,000 in matching funds from non-federal sources, totaling $150,000 in eligible project expenses.
Applications are due on June 20th. You can find more information about the grant program here: NWTF Assists Forest Service with the 2025 Hazardous Fuels Transportation Assistance Program – The National Wild Turkey Federation
