Request for Bids: Pescadero Creek County Park Forest Health Project

The San Mateo Resource Conservation District (RCD), in partnership with the San Mateo County Parks, is seeking an experienced contractor to implement a 541-acre forest health and fuel reduction project at Pescadero Creek County Park, Pescadero, CA.  This project consists primarily of mechanical mastication to treat dense stands of understory vegetation (less than or equal to 8” DBH), ladder fuels, and dead, dying and diseased trees (less than or equal to 16”). Work will be done in an environmentally sensitive manner honoring the significance of archeological and sensitive biological resources.

A mandatory pre-bid tour will be held at the project site.

Attendance is required for all firms submitting proposals.
