The objective

loggers and their crews with the Forest Practice Rules that
govern timber harvesting in California. Discussions will focus on the purpose
of the rules and ways to comply with them. A series of video presentations and
workbook questions will increase participant knowledge of the regulations and
good logging practices. Facilitators use the Timber Harvest Plan as a framework
throughout the workshop to discuss how each timber harvest topic might be
addressed in a typical Timber Harvest Plan.
