Spring is here, Summer’s coming and the Redding Chapter of Associated California Loggers intends to greet them with the TWENTY-FIRST Annual Log-a-Load-for-Kids Trapshoot.
Members of ACL from all regions are welcome to attend, and you can bring your friends.
Come celebrate 21 years of good shooting to raise money for a good cause: hospital equipment and care for children and babies.
The event will take place on Sunday April 28 at 10:00 a.m., rain or shine, at the Seven Lakes Gun Club, east of Redding.
Please note: This trapshoot is being held on a Sunday as opposed to a Saturday as in some previous years. This is to hold down costs of renting the Gun Club.
Co-chairs are Stan and Bunky Leach; and Jaime and Jamie Wagenfuhr. (Jaime Wagenfuhr is the Chair of the Redding Chapter.)
The shoot is open to everyone, from beginners to experts. There will be buddy shoots, team competitions, individual shoots, and Annie Oakley shoot-outs.
There will be prizes for top shooters, and, as always, proceeds will go through Log-a-Load-for-Kids to benefit the medical care of children via the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which is a great reason to have a good time.
There will also be a special raffle for a $500 Gift Certificate for a Jones Fort “Pick Out Your Own Gun” , Donated by Jones Fort and Wagenfuhr Timber Falling;
There will also be a raffle for a Ruger American Predator 6.5 Creedmore CA.
Donated by Olde West Gun& Loan.
Tickets $5 each and the drawing will be held the day of the trap shoot.
Refreshments will be available at the clubhouse. No alcohol please.
Grab your gun, round up a team of Hot Shots, or just bring your family, friends and crew for a day of fun!!!
